Charlie Oakley is the heart of the Bridgewood High FC defence. He is a confident player and an intuitive reader of the game. As a keen amateur boxer, Oakley’s fitness surpasses that of most of his fellow Bridgewood players. Charlie plays a physical game that gains him respect from teammates and opposing players alike. Charlie is one of several Bridgewood High FC players who possesses the natural ability and determination to make it as a professional player.

Duc Duong is a versatile player who is happy to play on the wing or as a striker. Duong is one of the fastest players in the squad and has demonstrated a capacity for lightning bursts of speed during initial Bridgewood High FC games. Duc has formed an excellent playing partnership with Albinus Gardiner. Together they are capable of breaking down any defence in the league.

Excellent reader of the game who plays comfortably in central midfield or out on the wings. Shows real maturity in his understanding of team tactics and is blessed with an amazing turn of speed.

Dougie is an out and out striker that will pose a threat to any team’s defence. Can shoot with either foot and prides himself on his ability to bend it like Beckham. Dougie also shares the famous England player’s high work rate and will come back to aid struggling defenders when required. Watch out for his energetic cartwheel goal celebrations.

One of Bridgewood’s hard men and a good all-rounder. Likes to play up front but can be used as a utility player elsewhere on the pitch. Jimmy has grown in size and stature during his first year at Bridgewood and is being closely watched by a number of club scouts. Definitely one to watch!

Ryan’s is a talented goalkeeper with brilliant reflexes. Despite his outward appearance Ryan is agile and quick to get to the ball. The Bridgewood High FC fitness training is paying dividends with Ryan’s confidence and performances on the pitch.

Intelligent defender who likes to run with the ball. Plays in the left-back position for Bridgewood High, but can be used as a utility player if required. Prefers the short-pass game and uses his passing accuracy to get himself out of trouble from faster attacking players. Shows great promise.

Peter is a tall player who prefers to play in defence but is equally adept in a goalkeeping role. Schirtzer can play on either side of the pitch and has the longest kick in the Bridgewood High School football team. This makes Peter a great asset when long-ball tactics are required.

Midfield player with good all-round skills. Knocking on the door for a first team place due to the high standard of the squad. Needs more competitive match play to reach full potential.

Luan is a natural defender with a great work rate on and off the ball. Typically brought on as a substitute, Luan’s fearless tackling and staunch determination make him an invaluable member of the squad.
