Season Notes – Headmaster
| 29 June, 2010
A new team is born.
This is just a short introduction to welcome you to Bridgewood High School Football Club. Following last terms highly competitive trials and friendly matches, the first team squad has been selected. As we prepare to kick off our first season in division three there is a great atmosphere surrounding the club.
Our school opened its doors for the first time last year, and we are fortunate enough to boast a great coaching staff and lots of talented footballers. I am confident that staff and pupils will prove to be great ambassadors for the school and that we will quickly make our mark on the league. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the parents of the players for their enthusiasm and support of the team the unsung heroes! We hope that you will come down to our playing grounds to support us, or follow us online over the coming months. Read more »

Book deal for Bridgewood High FC
| 5 June, 2010
I am delighted to report that the trials and tribulations of the Bridgewood High School football team will now be captured for posterity in the written word.
In the aftermath of the sponsorship deal that was brokered for the football team the school was approached by the Quest publishing company to see if a further deal could be arranged to publish books on the exploits of the school football team. After much consideration, the school board of governors has agreed the terms offered by publisher.
The launch title ‘A New Beginning’ will be launched in July 2008 with further titles available in Autumn 2008 and Spring 2009. The revenue that the school receives from this book deal will pay for the maintenance of the Bridgewood High FC website and vital equipment for the PE department.
Copies of the books are available from all good bookshops or can be ordered online at www.quest-books.co.uk.
