School’s Out for the Summer!!!!

| 16 July, 2010

It’s the last day of term and I cannot wait to whiz through the school gates this afternoon! Don’t get me wrong, I like Bridgewood High and it’s been a good year (first team place in the footie team, called-up for London Schools, great girlfriend – not a bad haul for one year), but it’s good to have a break. The first thing that I’m going to do when the bell goes is go to the park to have a kick around with Albinus and the rest of the lads. Dougie and Dermott think we should hang around the local pub to see if the teachers get drunk but I’ve got better things to do with my time! Dougie and Dermott are real jokers but it will get them into trouble one day. Anyway, I hope that you all have a great summer break. I plan to keep blogging over the hols so check back if you’re not too busy.

Summertime …

| 9 July, 2010

Only one more week of school to endure and then the summer hols are here! On a down note, my parents want me to go with them to visit my grandparents in the back of beyond. When will they realise that I’m not a little kid and would rather hang out with Mitzi and my mates? Still, granddad isn’t too bad (I hope that he’s got a new set of teeth before the visit, the whole gum thing really grossed me out last time!) and you can have a really good footie conversation with him. He used to play football in the army and can still bust a few moves if his hip isn’t playing up!
